Editorial listing vs paid placement

Editorial directory data

Inclusion, ordering and factual profile corrections are governed by directory standards rather than advertising spend.

Advertising

Any paid placement must be clearly labeled and must not be presented as an editorial ranking or verification signal.

Claiming or correcting a profile

When verified profiles are introduced, lawyers will be able to request factual corrections through the contact channel. Requests should identify the profile URL, the requested change and a reliable source supporting the correction.

Verification comes before scale.

We prefer a smaller directory with verified information over thousands of automatically generated law-firm pages. Until lawyer data is verified, location pages remain editorial lawyer-selection guides rather than fabricated business profiles.
